Euroflor Meadow Makers – Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council

Seven areas around the borough were planted with Euroflor seeds and, says Head Ranger Dave Askey, “we received lots of compliments. The Euroflor mixes provided expansive banks of colour that lasted much longer than bedding plants and were so much more cost-effective.”

The council’s cabinet member for environment and transport, Councillor Mike Smith added: “The wildflower displays were very colourful and eye-catching. We planted them at prominent locations around the borough and received great feedback. But it was not just residents who enjoyed them – they were popular with bees, butterflies and other insects, too.”
